The opening ceremony for Balvatika 1 and 2 began with a soulful prayer by Balvatika 3 students. Eliza Fiona Godwin welcomed the gathering, followed by an inspiring address from Principal Sr. Geo Therese. Vice Principal Sr. Jean Mary and Mrs. Sheela Shaji offered felicitations, and a cheerful dance by Balvatika 3 added charm to the celebration. The event ended with a thankful note by Ahaan Narayanan, marking a joyful beginning for the young learners.
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June 2025 with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The celebration began with a message from Principal Sr. Geo Therese, inspiring students to protect nature through small, consistent actions. A sapling-planting ceremony was carried out by students from Classes 1 to 12. Creative activities like a notice board contest and poster making brought awareness to the theme. The event concluded with a heartfelt pledge by students and staff to safeguard the environment, making the day both meaningful and educational.
Reopening Day & Founders’ Day (02 June 2025)
The academic year 2025–2026 began with great joy and reverence as Reopening Day and Founders’ Day were celebrated on 2nd June 2025. The programme opened with a solemn prayer, followed by a graceful welcome dance. Staff Secretary Ms. Bindu C.P. extended a warm welcome to everyone.
The Principal, Sr. Geo Therese, inaugurated the new academic year by lighting the lamp and inspired the students to strive for excellence while upholding the core values of the institution. Vice Principal Sr. Jean Mary highlighted the significance of Founders’ Day. Outstanding STOGO participants were honoured for their achievements, with PTA President Mr. Deepak Anto appreciating their hard work and dedication.
New students and staff were welcomed symbolically by presenting the light of knowledge. The offering ceremony and candle ritual added a serene and meaningful touch to the occasion.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Jess Joseph, School Assistant Leader, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.

Nirmala Matha Convent School secured the first position in the Child Online Protection Award at the State Level STOGO Fest 2024, held at Holy Grace Academy, Mala. This recognition highlights the school’s exemplary efforts in promoting online safety and digital awareness among students. Their achievement underscores a commitment to fostering secure and responsible internet practices.
The Science Exhibition at school was an exciting display of innovation and creativity, where students showcased their projects on various scientific concepts, experiments, and inventions. The event provided a platform for students to explore and demonstrate their scientific curiosity.
Additionally, the school level STOGO Fest conducted at school was a thrilling competition where students participated in various cultural and academic activities, displaying their skills and talents.
The Onam celebration at school was a vibrant and festive event, filled with traditional dances, music, and games. Students and teachers came together to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Kerala, with a grand Pookalam (flower rangoli), delicious Onam Sadhya (feast), and exciting competitions, creating a memorable and joyous atmosphere for everyone.
A total of 21 students have been selected to participate in the State Level Stogo Fest 2024, which will be held at Holy Grace Institution, Mala. This achievement highlights their talent and dedication as they prepare to represent their school at this prestigious event.
